                                      TRUCK FEST - 2ND ANNOUNCEMENT - 09/03

Situated in the picturesque settings of the Oxford countryside (George's place of birth #win), the 2-day weekender, Truck Festival, is celebrating its 17th year and has prepared a worthy lineup.

Manchester born, The Charlatans, have been brought in to headline the Friday. After recently releasing their 12th studio album 'Modern Nature' and playing a trio of dates at Manchester's Albert Hall (Thursday was fab btw I was there, and that bald guy from Sunday Brunch was there as well x), I expect them to take Oxford by storm.

Darwin Deez, the curly haired god, is set to play Truck Fest as well, we can't wait to see him bust out his almost indescribable dance moves and bless the British public as they bear witness to such a majestic display. We will be expecting to hear our favourites from his critically acclaimed sophomore album, 'Songs For Imaginative People', '(800) Human' 'bangs' live tbf.

And finally, our favourite act at Truck Fest, (James and George's favourite band, not forgetting TOY x xx) The Wytches have been announced!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM SO HAPPY :-) After their debut album 'Annabel Dream Reader' was released in August last year, followed by a succession of highly rated gigs up and down the country and all over the world, The Wytches have proved to be one of the best live acts around. And quite possibly Brighton's response to Nirvana (says George, tru tho amirite).

This could potentially be Truck's most successful year yet, we are very excited to say the least.

*p.s. btw we think (pray) TOY could possibly be announced in the 3rd addition to the lineup !!!

READING AND LEEDS - FIRST ANNOUNCEMENT - 25TH NOVEMBER 2014

Metallica xxx
Anticipation for Reading and Leeds has been brewing for awhile. Personally we (Georgie and James) predict Pink Floyd, but I doubt Leeds have the funding to pay Pink Floyd and Metallica?!! That's right, the legends that are the Metallica group are set to headline Reading and Leeds 2015.

Jamie T, currently on tour after releasing Carry On the Grudge, Pierce the Veil, Run the Jewels, Manchester Orchestra are among the first names to be released for next year's lineup.

Organisers confirmed rock legends Metallica would be headlining Reading and Leeds tonight at 19:00 via a Youtube video, whether you like them or not, you're bound to be in the pits moshing your little hearts out ok.

Again, we predict Pink Floyd, you heard it here first!

Georgie & James
